    Well it seems we survived Blizzards attempt to break the Jass editor for wc3 with 1.28. Here is hoping there are no more unforseen issues going forward. Right so new version for the Third War. 1.48 continues to focus in making Kalimdor more popular and so will the coming versions. Some of the oldest and worst terrain in the whole map, Stonetalon and the Barrens should now be much more enjoyable to fight over. The Medivh event has been completly revamped and Gray has gotten a special hero building with spells.

    A short explanation of Gray's special building: It can have max 65 mana and gains 1 mana per unit killed by Gray while a minor mana regen present. Focuses are: Unit speed, aoe healing, scouting, hero stats buffs and utility. The spells and effects:

    For 5 mana: Gives all your units a move speed buff for a time.
    For 15 mana: Heals 150 hp to all friendly units.
    For 20 mana: Summons an invisbile flying scout anywhere on the map. This unit is the fastest unit in the map.
    For 50 mana on a 60 sec cd: Give a friendly hero +3 to all stats.
    Also for 50 mana: Create a Scroll of Teleportation at a friendly hero.

    And now to the changelog:

    New:

    -Multiboard updates every 30 seconds, up from every 2 seconds. This was a major trigger active through the entire game that probably put out quite abit of stress on the map. Every 30 sec is still plenty of updates to keep tracks on who has how many cps.

    -New hero building for Gray.

    -Added an item for killing C’thun.

    -New Barrens Terrain.

    -New Stonetalon Terrain.

    -New Medivh event.

    Balance:


    -Base level of second chances upped from level 1 to 3. Still gains 1 level every 4 min.

    -Gul’dan's Minifernals now have 200 less hp and take up more space.

    -Added a turn 20 requirement on red going second chance. Suiciding is not something I promote.

    -Added some starting units for LB in Ashenvale.

    -Gray can no longer have permanent serpent wards, instead the mastery gives dubble time duration.

    -Some Green Nerfs: Nek’rosh down to level 3 from 4, Ogres and Dragons slightly less hp and cost slightly more.

    -Nerfed Skybreaker stun on heroes.

    Bugs:

    -Removed a red bug spawn unit on LK death. This is the one where Red would turn units with the plague buff after Lich King died.

    -Some Silithids are no longer undead.

    .Fixed a bug where red could keep some heroes on going his second chance.

    .Fixed a bug with Pink’s name.

    -Removed some left over gold coins.

    -Fixed a bug where Purple could see an upgrade he should not.

    Personal Comment:

    Originally this version had an even larger scope, to be the definitive Kalimdor patch but with blizzard messing with editing, travelling and essay writing, it felt more reasonable to release this now and leave the rest of Kalimdor to 1.49A. Too big patches leave too long patch notes that no one has time to read.

    Personally i loath the Boots of Speed item because if its buyable its mandatory for all critical heroes to keep alive. But having just a special one in the map that does not cause said problem.

    There are more Kalimdor terrain changes planned, especially Orgrimmar. My prefered terrain is one of fairly large open areas (Old Stometalon was chockepoint hell which is bad) but with strategic chockepoints for defense. The Crossroads is one such chockepoint and through it you more or less control the Barrens but can easily manuver.

    Anyway im open to all suggestions on how Pinks True Horde path should function as that will be in next version. New Orgrimmar, new true Horde. Feedback and replays are always appreciated.

    Do you think about something new for Lordaeron? Amazing idea is this when Lordaeron fell beacuse of Scrogue they can be Silver Hand or Gilneas like Stormwind

    Lordaeron will indeed be the next focus after the current Kalimdor centric focused line of patches is done.

    I think a True Horde style faction should be based less on casters and the elements but more on brute force, heavy siege and just full on warfare. So a change in casters to some kind of blood shaman/war cultist with aoe buffs or something in that nature, with a buff to all melee units but removing all non-orc/goblin units from the faction permanently. A nice thing too would be to see the Heart of Y'sharaaj play some kind of roll as it's the only old god remnant not in the game and was pretty key in the siege of Pandaria by Garrosh.

    i wish to see an update for druid faction to get worgen units or even new heros like anywild god anveena or goldrinn

    Yeah picking from a few diffrent wildgods like Ursoc (strength tank type), Goldrinn (mixed stats warrior type), Avianna (flying w/ main agility and aura based) and Malorne (intelligence ranged caster) as a non revivable demi-god style hero would be really cool.

    It's so nice to come back from writing a 2 month paper to playing a nice game of the Third War. Then you decide to edit and release blizzard has released ANOTHER patch that breaks the editor AGAIN!

    It seems blizzard is at war with wc3 mappers.

    man , can you create the same map , but with the control every player , it will be great for the loney players , control all players and get at the same time all the rewards or events , it can be great, more for me ,

    I'm pretty sure there is a command in singleplayer for that, don't remember though.

    so you will create the map or you need the singleplayer command for doing that , but you dont remeber that command

    No, the map already have that command, how do you think he can see every player in the map?

    OH you are refearing of this , example:
    lordaeron and dalaran , if one of the two is not control of a player , give the player that have control of the existing faction , who control dalaran or lordaeron so the player can control both factions ,
    My version of the command that i wish:
    iam refearing at the command to control all players and fight as an online game , i think they can see all players , so is an idea that i have
    is a "special version of the map"
