Another batch of goodies! This time I'm going to preview our favourite spokesman: Rhonin "Dragonheart" Redhair was a capricious mage of Dalaran, who paid a major role in setting Queen Alexstrasza herself free from the bonds of Dragonmaw Clan's orcs as well as War of the Ancients through the efforts of Bronze Dragonflight. He quickly rose to a rank of Kirin Tor Leader shortly after Dalaran's fall and orchestrated its return to glory. In LTA Rhonin was a mix of a destructive and supportive hero, featuring spells such as blizzard, elemental summons, wise council, frost armour and lightning storm as parts of his kit as well as the trademark ability of arcane shielding and arcane wrath, the latter being gained after delving into the secrets of Book of Medivh. This left him in a spot where he was all over the place and - in my opinion - made his design really weak (not power-wise) and uninspired. With that being said, the upcoming changes to Rhonin will be a kickback to Arcane Mages of old in WoW, who used to be the supports of raid groups, granting food, buffs and debuffs while applying sustained damage over time. IMPORTANT NOTE - @Draupne AND I HAVE DECIDED TO POSTPONE LEADER REWORKS TO 1.46, WHERE THEY'LL BE DONE TOGETHER WITH ALL OTHER ONES, MEANING 1.45 WILL FEATURE LIADRIN ONLY. 1.45 IS ALREADY PRETTY SIZABLE AND WE DON'T WANT TO MAKE IT TOO BIG. Without further ado - here's his skillset: Attack Range: Ranged (600) Role: Summoner, Disabler, Enabler. - What's an enabler? Enabler is a support type of hero, who focuses on multiplying powers of others or granting them new ones. Lt. Morales' Stimpack ultimate (+%MS and +%AS) is an example of an enabler ability.Starting Health: 600 (post-stats) Starting Mana: 420 (post-stats) Starting Armour: 1 Starting Damage: 33-40 (post-stats) Starting Attack Speed: 1.35 (4 attacks over 5.4 seconds) Level 1 Strength + Gain: 21 + 1.65 Level 1 Agility + Gain: 16 + 0.9 Level 1 Intelligence + Gain: 28 + 2.4 [PRIMARY] [D] [INNATE] [CHANNELED] [REQUIRES BOOK OF MEDIVH] Arcane Shielding. 175 mana cost. 75s cooldown. Radius: 400 AoE. Duration: 15 seconds. Rhonin taps into the powers of arcane thanks to the Book of Medivh, channeling a barrier of arcane energy. The barrier renders everything within 400 AoE invulnerable. Due to the sheer amount of effort put into weaving the spell, Rhonin cannot do anything else, while casting it. The barrier can be bypassed with certain spells and stun shards. Replaces Arcane Wrath. [Q] Summon Arcane Elementals - 125/140/155/170 mana cost. 30s cooldown. Duration: 60 seconds. Rhonin evokes an incantation that binds arcane energies to his will in form of elementals. These elementals will serve his will and have the following stats and abilities: - 300/400/450/500 Health. - 20/20/25/30 magic damage. (doesn't change) - 100 mana. - 300/350/400/450 range. - 150/150/175/175 splash radius. - Arcane Missiles ability. - Arcane missiles cost 100 mana and hit the closest 3 randomly chosen targets for 50/60/70/80 magic damage. 15s cd.- Rhonin summons 1/2/3/4 elementals total and can summon a new group without destroying the previous one or waiting for it to expire. Replaces Blizzard. [W] Wisdom of Dalaran - 100/130/160/200 mana cost. 35s cooldown. Radius: 350 AoE. Rhonin clears the nearby arcane ley lines of distortions and disruptions, immediately restoring 60/90/120/150 mana to nearby units in 350 AoE. The next spell cast (other than Wisdom of Dalaran) by Rhonin will have its mana cost reduced by 50% (25% for Arcane Brilliance) and its cooldown by 10/15/20/25 (3/6/10/15 for Arcane Brilliance) seconds. Replaces Frost Armour. [E] Supernova - 130/150/170/190 mana cost. 30/28.5/27/25s cooldown. Radius: 250/300/325/350. Cast Range: 450. Debuff Duration: 6 seconds. DAMAGE TYPE: Pure (This means it won't get amplified by summoned armour) Rhonin engulfs a target ally in a storm of arcane energies. The unit is unharmed, residing within its eye. All enemies within 250/300/325/350 AoE around it, however, will be stunned for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds and become 20/30/40/50% more vulnerable to magic. Units with summoned armour type will receive damage equal to 400% of Rhonin's intelligence as pure damage. Replaces Wise Council. [R] [ULTIMATE] Arcane Brilliance - 250/350 mana cost. 150/120s cooldown. Radius: 800 AoE. Duration: 10/20 seconds. Bestows the Briliance of Dalaran upon Rhonin and all allied heroes within 800 AoE around him. For the next 10/20 seconds all spells cast by them will cost 25% less mana and have their spellpower increased by 15/30%, allowing them to deal more damage or restore more health and mana. Summons, CC durations and mitigation / amplification effects are unaffected. Pure damage does not get amplified. Replaces Lightning Storm. Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?
