So because the Imams control religious power over their ethnic communities in Europe, the right path leads to re-educating the religious leaders, however with the Saudi wahhabist propaganda machine, can we hope to achieve this?

Can liberal values and reason Trump over Islamic conservatism of beliefs?

    I meant technologically, not philosophically.

Again, the answer is no. These processes take place on a historic timescale. Rapid change typically only occurs in the form of drastic conflict and upheaval. Remember, the Protestant Reformation had a big part to play in sparking the 30 years war.

"Power resides where men believe it resides"

As long as Muslims continue to believe that the ulema, imams and sheikhs are the ultimate power-brokers in Islamic society, nothing will change. There are cracks in the Matrix but as Feanor said, there needs to be a critical mass for any change to occur, which is simply not possible right now.

The worst thing to do at this point is to continue to arm these Islamic-based States, as well as continuing to meddle in the middle east, as there is probably going to be much upheaval in the future.

So what I'm getting now is that there is no hope on a large scale, with the rapefugee crisis we can't hope that they will integrate as they will self segregate due to religious and cultural differences.

Since Feanor and Abdel both agree that this will take centuries, what can Europe do?

Sorry the topic is a bit loose, transitioning from cultural integration to Islamic reformation.

So all in all, we agree that the rapefugees need to be "Aggressively Assimilated" but a Islamic Reformation is needed to be done in the middle east to solve anything by separating their religion from state, without any military intervention.

    Fuck tough case.
